Masseria Gelso Bianco is a family country home that blends both rustic and contemporary style and offers the unique experience of living in a trullo, found only in the area of Puglia.

The masseria consists of 11 Trulli cones, and one lamia. There are four double bedrooms and one single room, all with private bathroom and each named after vegetation found the Pugliese landscape: agave, artichoke (carciofo), fig (fico), pomegranate (melograno) and prickly pear (fico d’india). Each room is slightly different with its own sense of design, layout and personal touches.

The main dining room is a comfortable sitting room, with two sofas. Adjacent to it, there is a lovely well- equipped kitchen. The old stable is the perfect setting for our cooking school at Gelso Bianco and is a fully equipped food laboratory, used as an international kitchen for our spring and fall cooking classes. This semi-professional kitchen is available for all our guests.

Outside there is lovely shaded space for  dining and a stunning 13mt long heated pool.

The old “forno”is the set for the pizza oven.

It is located only 3 km from the UNESCO World Heritage site of Alberobello and can be reached in approx 1 hour from the airports of Bari or Brindisi.

The small village of Capitolo is only 1.8km distant and has a restaurant and mini-market for basic supplies.
