By Air from the UK:
British Airways fly from Gatwick to Bari two or three times a week between March and October, Ryanair offers two low cost routes to Puglia direct from London Stansted. Both routes fly alternate days throughout the year and have a flying time of only 3 hours.
Easyjet also offer the Gatwick to Bari direct flight for certain months of the summer.  (June – September for 2012)

Driving time to Masseria Gelso Bianco from Bari airport is approximately 45’ minutes same as from Brindisi airport.
It is also possible to fly to either Naples or Pescara from London with British Airways and Alitalia.
Driving time to Masseria Gelso Bianco from Naples or Pescara is approximately 3 hours.

By Air from the USA and Canada
Small ads in the travel sections of the main newspapers such as the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Toronto Globe and Mail have many discounted flights to Italy. There are of course any number of scheduled flights to Italy from the major US and Canadian airports. Many people are now taking cheap flights to the UK and then the low cost Ryanair flight on to Bari or Brindisi. Try also Swiss Air from the US with a stop in Zurich to fly to Bari.

The main hub for travel from the USA and Canada to Italy is Rome. From there ongoing flights Bari, Brindisi, Naples and Pescara are numerous and available mostly with Alitalia.

Car Hire:
It is invariably best and cheaper to book your hire car before travelling rather than leaving it until your arrival in southern Italy.
